The LIMAGS Club has sponsored an annual gem, mineral & fossil show during the last weekend in July since 1980. Over 30 dealers of fine gemstones, jewelry, fossils, minerals, meteorites and related items will display from 10:00-5:00 on  Saturday and Sunday. The next gem show is scheduled for Saturday, July 31 and Sunday, August 1, 2010. The donation is $5.00 per person. A reduced donation of $4.00 per person is available with a flyer or post card. Children under 12 are free when accompanied by a paying adult. The location of the show is the Mattituck-Cutchogue High School on Rte 25 in Mattituck, Long Island, New York. This location is air conditioned and refreshments are available. In addition this area is in the midddle of Long Island’s wine country and close to many other area attractions in Riverhead. These include Tanger Outlets shopping, Atlantis Marine Aquarium, Splish Splash water park, fine dining, Long Island Sound/Atlantic Ocean beaches and north shore kayacking.
